Versatile hard disk recorder
Far from your average hardware recorder, the TASCAM X-48MKII gives you incredibly flexible recording options. Record at at up to 96kHz resolution, without sacrificing channel count. Built-in word-clock lets you pair the X-48MKII with high quality digital devices such as multichannel preamplifiers. And a full 1TB of hard drive space gives you plenty of recording time. Plug in a VGA monitor, and you instantly get access to the X-48MKII's amazing GUI. Not only does the X-48MKII's GUI give you access to a whole range of editing tools, its simple and clean layout makes it easy to use, even if you're not used to working in a traditional DAW. What's more, the X-48MKII's GUI lets you set up advanced routing paths and monitor mixes, letting you get even more out of your recording rig.

Pick the I/O you need
The TASCAM X-48MKII come loaded with six 8-channel TDIF inputs, giving you instant access to 48-track recording. You also get stereo S/PDIF I/O as well. Two TASCAM option card bays also let you expand your X-48MKII's I/O with analog or AES/EBU connections as well, so you can configure your system exactly the way you like.
