I have always been an Ampeg Guy. I actually have an SVT all tube 300 watt head along with 8 / 10's that has been my work horse. I was looking for something a little more portable for some of the quick little practices and gigs but I didn't want to sacrifice tone. I have tried so many smaller rigs but they sounded horrible. I was about ready to give up on my search but the reviews on this amp caught my attention. Of course I buy everything from Sweetwater so I got awesome service from them as usual. But this amp OMG it sounds better than my Ampeg! I am not kidding! I also purchased the matching 2 / 10's extension cabinet which makes this little guy look and sound even better. I can't believe how clean, crisp, and tight the tone is coming out of this little guy. This is now my go to amp! Anyone want to buy an Ampeg?
