Dual 12AX7 Tubes The Womanizer is powered by two 12AX7 tubes, letting you coax anything from warm clean tones to thick blues-style distortion and sustain from your guitar. The two cascading gain stages are followed by a proprietary tube output stage that works as if it were a tube power amp, providing you with not only the sound, but the feel of a great tube amp. Analog Opto-Compressor The Womanizer's analog opto-compression circuitry produces a high-quality compression similar to high-end stand-alone rack units. The compression shapes the amplitude and envelope of the pre-distortion signal, giving you fat, sustained clean tones and ultra-smooth distortions. More than an added feature, the opto-compression is an integral part in getting your sound. Direct Recording Out The Womanizer is designed to accurately emulate professionally-miked 1 x 12 combos, and send this signal to the board via a direct out. The end result is incredibly responsive feel while managing to preserve the high end presence of great recorded guitar tones.
