Just a great guitar

I've had this guitar since June of 09. At that time I owned a Strat, tele, PRS ce22, and a Gibson L.P. , but was not really happy with any one of them. I still wanted a guitar that was above all of those. I ran accross the new wolfgang while on Sweetwater web site. I started reserching Eddie Van Halen and his guitar building knowledge. I was never a big Van Halen fan but knew of Eddie and his frankenstrat. I have since sold all my guitars except this new wolfgang and have
not had one regret. This is a great world class guitar, that will last a life time. It has great tone
and just fun to play, and looks awsome.

I have owned a quite a few guitars--Fender Strats were always my fave--A few PRS's (513, CE 24), very nice.

But then I bought the EVH Wolfgang, and I suppose it was the one I had been looking for! First off, mine is the maple capped Tobacco one. When I opened the case, I could not have been more pleased-absolutely perfect condition-I really don't know how EVH does it!Yes, it does cost 3 grand, but if it's a work of art, I guess thats how it goes in 2009.Eh! Well I soon plugged into my Rivera, and all my tones were there plus some!!
I just want you player' to know its a knockout!!

Amazing!!

The quality of this guitar is amazing. Some say this guitar is no better than the musicman axis. Well it is, because I have one of thse too. Being an EVH fan I'm sure makes some difference. But Ed was right about every aspect of this guitar being exceptional quality. The action is so low with absoultely no buzz anywhere! It is quite a bit of money, but it is worth it. And it is way better than the musicman or previous Wolfgangs. Finally they came out with something that the "man" himself plays that people can afford. My plan is to get one in every color. It may take me a while.
