The Special Rocks

I have been a Van Halen fan for years so when the wolfgang came out I wanted one. The price tag just couldn't work for me. The special came out and I researched it and researched it . I saw it here at Sweetwater and how the pictures of the actual guitar were displayed and the care they took in the service. I was helped every step of the way by the staff and when the guitar arrived I was blown away. I have been playing for 26 years and I can honestly say this guitar is straight hard core rock through and through. Wolfgang special and sweetwater unbeatable.

Near Perfect

I recently bought this guitar from Guitar Center and am blown away with it. It's by far the best thing I've ever bought (and the most expensive too). When I got it, I immediately opened it up, (It was very well packaged) and took it out of the box. The first I noticed while playing it was the outstanding Van Halen tone of the guitar. The humbuckers just nail the tone, they're my favorite pickups I've ever played. Next, the neck is crazy smooth. It's oiled with some kind of natural oil which is smoother than any man-made oil out there. Another great feature on this guitar is the Bourns low friction pots. They are extremely easy to turn. This guitar also has a EVH signature Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. It's the first signature Floyd on the market. But it's basically an original Floyd with a D-Tuna and the EVH logo. Besides these flawless features it also comes with an SKB case that's nearly better than the guitar. The inside of the case is custom-molded red plush fabric with a big storage compartment. A cool thing about the case is that it can be close with the tremolo bar attached.

Solid Sounding Guitar

Great sound and feel.

I added another spring to the Tremolo system because it kept going out of tune and had to modify the strap lock because the screw was stripped. Other than this, this guitar sounds great
