Great Product!!!

I play the EWI4000s and I connect all my midi gear to an old DMC MX-8 midi patchbay. I use the VL70m & XV2020 sound modules. I tried the MidAir and it just didnt perform and is unreliable. I switched to the WIDI X8 and it worked instantly. Wow what a great product (and over 230 feet)!!!!

If you are looking for an adapter to to Radio Shack and get the 4.5V adapter.

I could not find a case but adapted a PDA case for it, get you some velco too - look great.

Best purchase this year.

Well, it may be made in China but it is being used a lot in Syracuse NY. My set up time is now half what it used to be, I can put my laptop next to me at the end of the stage and have the midi rack back by the drummer. Would recommend they change the color of the text for the switches.

Simple, it works, AX-1 owners cut the cord!

Okay, for keyboard players who have labored in obscurity for years, this product is for you. Just got product last Saturday. Hooked up and turned on. Product WORKED IMMEDIATELY. Moved my AX-1 throughout my house. Product worked flawlessly (including program change messages and continuous controllers) through three walls. The only downside is the stupid manual, which, like all manuals translated from Chinese, seems to miss the point. Have not used live yet but I am thrilled. Unit comes with two short midi cables and a USB cable, which I did not expect. Product exceeds expectations. Buy it, use it, love it. Attached to back of my AX-1 with velcro. Units are small, compact, and appear to be solid.

WIDI-X8 performs well

I am very happy with the X8. I use it on my Lync LN-1000 keyboard controller to go out in the audience and stand on the bar or on a table. It performs slightly better than my Sennheiser G2 wireless in ear monitor system. Notes have stuck when outside the front doors of the club, but again the wireless monitoring system was having more problems. A lot of fun.
