Okay, for keyboard players who have labored in obscurity for years, this product is for you. Just got product last Saturday. Hooked up and turned on. Product WORKED IMMEDIATELY. Moved my AX-1 thro... read more [+]ughout my house. Product worked flawlessly (including program change messages and continuous controllers) through three walls. The only downside is the stupid manual, which, like all manuals translated from Chinese, seems to miss the point. Have not used live yet but I am thrilled. Unit comes with two short midi cables and a USB cable, which I did not expect. Product exceeds expectations. Buy it, use it, love it. Attached to back of my AX-1 with velcro. I am very happy with the X8. I use it on my Lync LN-1000 keyboard controller to go out in the audience and stand on the bar or on a table.
