VoiceLive 2 Gigbag--Fits Like A Glove!!

I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about when he said that this bag did not fit his VoiceLive 2. I got my bag today, and it fits my VoiceLive 2 perfectly! It is a little snug, which is... read more [+] the way I want it to be, but it is pretty obvious how the unit is supposed to sit in this bag, and I don't have any problem with footswitches being pressed when it is zipped up, either. You obviously have to remove all the compartment separators (duh!) that are included in case you use this bag with a VoiceTone pedal, but once that is done, and you stretch out the interior of the bag to its fullest, the VoiceLive 2 fits in just the way I want it to -- tight so it won't move around, but with just enough room to get the zipper zipped. There is still plenty of room in the other compartment for my power supply and a mic cable with the VoiceLive 2 already in the main compartment. It works perfectly for me, and looks great, too. Bottom line is don't let the first review scare you away from buying this bag. I didn't let it scare me away, and I am very glad. In my opinion, this bag fits the VoiceLive 2 and performs exactly the way TC Helicon intended it to! close [-]

Good bag...tight fit for VL2

Seems like a good quality bag. Some minor annoyances like the fit being so tight on my VoiceLive 2 that it's a little hard to zip however it seems it's wearing in a bit and getting a bit easier. The... read more [+]re's not much padding which is fine for my uses, but wouldn't be OK for more rugged touring uses.

The shoulder strap is really nice, but it seems like I have to turn the clip around a bit weird to get it to lay flat on my shoulder. Seemed like the one side of the clip was sewn on backwards. However, functionally, it doesn't matter much even if it is clipped in opposite.

The pocket holds my mic, mic cable, guitar cable and power cord easily enough (although it's pretty fat when all packed up) so that I have all my VoiceLive 2 related gear in one package (plus my guitar).

Overall, I'm really happy with it. close [-]

Serviceable bag

This bag has a nice wide shoulder strap, and a compartment for cables big enough to hold 2 mic cables, 2 guitar cables, power supply and small extension cord for the power supply (mic and guitar cable... read more [+]s are short custom lengths, not 20' cables). The compartment for the voicelive2 is snug and you have to wiggle it around sometimes to get the zippers to close. The zippers are medium, not heavy duty - good but I suspect that since I gig 4-5 times a week I better be gentle with it or it won't last long. Mackie uses sturdier material and zippers on their speaker and mixer bags which cost less for a similar size (eg.1202 mixer bag) and will really last. This bag is good, and it works, and I would buy it again unless I could find a Mackie bag to fit, but I would rather have paid a little more for a nice sturdy bag for an $800 item like the voicelive2. I gave it a 2 because it's not the quality a working musician expects and the quality doesn't match the item it's supposed to protect. close [-]

VoiceLive 2 gigbag.....pass on this one.

I just got my new VoiceLive 2 today and was excited to pack it in my new case. The bag looks good from the outside, and would probably be great for two smaller units, but the VoiceLive 2 was a pretty... read more [+] tight fit. I noticed that when I put it in backside up, when zipped up one of the buttons on the pedal would have been pressed down which would probably cause some issues down the road. I flipped the unit around, and it was still not a great fit, but was a little better. With the VL2 in the case, the side pocket really didn't leave much room for my mic and cables. For the money, I would rather find a different style or a hard case that I can also have room to fit my mic and other accessories in along with the VL2. I would pass up on this bag. I'm taking mine back tomorrow. close [-]

I am very happy with the product and service I received. I have yet to experience such personalized service from audio/music companies in my hometown. I will certainly make more purchases from Sweetwater again. If you have the product I need, I will purchase it from Sweetwater. The service is exceptional. I have never been treated with such thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly service from any of the music companies located in Saint Louis, MO.
