A Fantastic Plug-In

This is really a fantastic effect when used correctly. Like any effect, you have to use this very gingerly and carefully. My specialty in recording is in my ability to create incredible vocal tracks and I use this plug-in routinely. A must buy for any professional studio.

A Disappointed Powercore Fan

When I bought Powercore, I was thrilled with the reverbs and especially the compression effects. Brilliant. Naturally, I expected the same outstanding TC quality in the Voice Modeler plug-in. I was sadly mistaken. You can make some cool sounding effects, but if you want your vocals to sound natural, this is not the tool to use. I was hoping it would bring my vocals out in the mixes more and add a new dimension. However, this doesn't do much more than you could do yourself with an EQ and a vocoder. The Growl/Throat effects are awful. They sound completely like a vocoder, not a realistic growl.


If I could get my money back, I would. I have the new Intonator plug-in on order. I hope it isn't as disappointing as this...
