Carson McClain$399 for a Virus. You would be out of your mind not to buy this if you are a PowerCore owner. This is the real deal! If you don't have $3000 for a Virus you must get this. Rave, house, trance, EBM, industrial, and hardstyle all owe their advancement to the Virus and what better and cheaper way to add it to your rig than this? Buggy (but sounds authentic=great)

Still somewhat buggy, especially with Emagic Logic. You can't route the 4 parts to different outputs, which severely limits your FX possibilities (especially considering theres only a single glob... read more [+]al delay/reverb effect that covers all 4 parts). The patch system would be very nice if it actually allowed me to save patches (whenever I try to save a patch, it corrupts the bank i'm trying to save to).
August 1, 2004 Music Background: Its a Virus. It sounds awesome. But please, TC and Access, work out the bugs! I don't think this plug was fully tested under OS X and Logic. I can't recommend buying this until version 1.1 or whatever bugfix is released so it is fully functional. Hopefully the multi-DSP license is forthcoming and reasonably priced. close [-] Also popular
