November 10, 2008 Music Background: 40 year hobbyist A whole world of possibilities
by Gary Jennings from Hesperia, CA
I have owned my Vetta II for a couple of years now and I am still discovering it's possibilities. I bought it originally to compliment my Variax guitar and the way the guitar and the amp communicate s... read more [+]till blows me away. Also, I've been able to download an upgrade for the amp since I've had it which is big reason I love Line 6 gear. The upgrade added so many features, it was almost like getting a new amp free. If you are thinking of purchasing this amp, my only caveat would be to say that you must be prepared to invest some time. Although you can just plug it in, find a factory preset that works for you and start jamming; to really get the most from this amazing technology, you need to take the time to learn it and dial it in. In my opinion, the presets are only starting points and the sounds really need some personal preference tweaking. I have put in the time and effort necessary to realize the full potential of this beast and it continues to amaze me every day. close [-]

Arend RabyWhen I got the Line 6 Vetta II amp out and started to play with it, I was instantly blown away by the features it had to offer. The Vetta II is the most powerful and versatile amplifier out on the market. Right out of the box it gives the user instant accesses to a library of amazing tones and effects. Whatever flavor of amps, stomp boxes, effects, or dynamics you may be looking for, the Vetta II has you covered. Not only can you have the tones of almost every type of amplifier, you can also combine them creating a tone that is all your own. This is great for the studio session guitarist or the live musician who may need many different types of gear to get the sound they are looking for. Now it all comes in one unit, the Line 6 Vetta II! Every Amp I ever wanted
by Dean Collette from Springfield, IL
The Vetta II is without a doubt, the best amp I have ever played through. PERIOD. I could stop right there. I know that's a lot to say, but it's true. As I think back over all the amps I... read more [+]9;ve used in the past, they all did something well - a tight distortion, or a balanced, articulate clean tone, but this amp does them all and because of it's flexability, it does them better.February 1, 2005 Music Background: The controls of the amp (or maybe I should say ampS)are very user-friendly and inuitive. Designing my own tones or tweaking the built in tones is a snap. The variety of input and output options is outstanding. If your reading this, you are probably thinking about buying one - Make sure you get the FBV Pedalboard with it. Having all the options available instantly at your feet makes this baby that much more powerful. I have plugged at least a dozen guitars into it trying to find the limits, and so far, I haven't. My acoustic Taylor sounds round and warm - not "digital." LPs and Srats sound phenominal and are incredibly versatile with awesome blues and rock tones. An older SG with dual humbuckers can get as gnarly as you want. In short, this is the amp I always wanted ('cause it's EVERY amp!) I would buy it again without hesitation. It's not cheap, but it's worth every dime. In fact, knowing what I know now, I would pay a lot more for it (but don't tell Sweetwater that!) close [-]
