I had accidental contact with Vegas4 in 2003.
I used to be very critical on my jobs as a Tv Producer/Editor. But with the coming of vegas to my life and jobs, it has been fun instead of working. My job rating very high and colleagues and clients cannot stop marvelling at the creative capabilities of vegas.

I've been using Sony Vegas since 2004 and i can say that this software really ROCKS because of its easy to use interface of drag and drop.I like this editing software because it doesn't crash and it really does the job well.Sony Vegas supports almost all media convertions as compared to other NLE software.

I've been using Vegas since it was Vegas Audio and it was owned by Sonic Foundry. The program has always been at the forefront of my production work. It seamlessly works with Sound Forge (9 now supports Vista). Although this program is considered more of a Video Program or NLE, it still kicks butt over the Audio only programs out there. If you don't need midi or use a different program for that, get Vegas 8! The ease of drag and drop audio clips, Acid support, high bit/sample rates (24 bits/192 kHz). The program now has a very customizable Mixing Console, ASIO support, and VST effects support. It has controller support (Tranzport, Mackie Control, & HUI). This is the MAN of DAWS!!!
