This guitar has just blown me away. My desire to purchase multiple guitars has ended. The Variax 700 can cover all musical bases in stride. For me it was a decision between this and the in between model. Boy am I glad I chose this one. The quality is impeccable and the craftsmanship is top notch. If you are someone like me who needs versatility when playing live or even recording, this is your guitar. Need a single coil sound, bam! Oh, I need a meaty Les Paul crunch, bam! Oh wait, I’m playing with the jazz cats down at the club; I need a 335, bam! It is remarkable how much ground you can cover. For the working man who needs as many authentic sounds as he can get for his money the Variax 700 is your guitar and to the studio engineer who wants to test out different sounds quickly, this is your guitar. You can’t go wrong if you demand versatility from your instruments and the highest level of quality.
