Great sounding piece

This is a great strip for clean or acoustic instruments. I didn't give it the full five stars because I'm not the biggest fan of the compressor and the EQ is the not most musical I've ever experienced. But that's not to say that either are below average! Everything on this strip is quality. I'd highly recommend it.

Can't go wrong

Great amp. Great eq. Great look. The Avalon has added those "famous" tones I hear on the top 40 billboards to my studio. Deff a studio staple that will get much use. The anniversary edition finish is sexy too!!

Yes!

This piece of gear is already a studio staple (especially for hip hop), but this is more than a paint job! The pictures here do not do this thing justice. I was blown away by the new finish when I saw it at AES. If you were thinking about Avalon, this is where it's at. Style and substance.
