If you currently use a Cakewalk SONAR V-Studio 700 system, here's your ticket for even huger track counts. The VS-700R is the same I/O unit that comes with the original SONAR V-Studio 700. When you use it in conjunction with your existing unit, you'll be able to track massive amounts of I/O. It expands your rig to a 41-in/56-out system, with the capability to record 37-in/48-out simultaneously.

Cakewalk's VS-700R makes full-fledged, pro-level 24-bit/192kHz recording possible, as it's packed with nothing but the highest-grade preamplifiers and A/D converters. The preamps and converters, in fact, are the same as those found on Roland's state-of-the-art V-Mixing M-400 console. In all, the VS-700R USB 2.0 interface gives you 21 inputs and 30 outputs (19-in/24-out simultaneously), including eight digitally controlled microphone preamplifiers on TRS/XLR inputs, ADAT I/O, digital I/O, MIDI I/O, and word clock I/O.
