I do alot of demo work for a division of Roland called RODGERS Church organs. We were shown this and now I carry one everywhere I play. I is such fun to do an old hymn with cool chords and sound like a Gospel Accapella Choir. The folks always respond with amazment.
At home I use it in my demo studio for back up vocals and have fooled several people into thinking I had pro singers come in for the project! IT IS THAT GOOD!

Finally purchased a second VP-550 to keep at church. Love it, can now lead the singing along with my hubby. The only thing I really have to be on top of is...
to have the "direct mic" OFF (your real voice) when I'm singing. We have a lot of laughs over this, as everyone knows what a horrible singer I am without my new best friend, Roland's VP-550! Thank you Roland !

I can't sing worth a dime! When my hubby & I
perform (I"m on keyboards), he tells everyone that he pays me NOT to sing. Well, now I CAN sing! I will be buying another one to keep at church for Sundays.
I never thought I could buy myself a voice.
