Premium Quality Orchestral Harp Samples

Digital orchestrators rejoice: the Vienna Symphonic Library has a major set of upgrades on its hands! This series expands on the previous libraries and offers embedded intelligent Performance Algorithms in an easy-to-use VST/AU plug-in to orchestrate an inconceivably vast array of samples. For the first time, hundreds of articulations can be combined in one Preset and on a single MIDI track. Vienna's proprietary Performance Detection analyzes intervals, repeated notes, patterns, and even speed in real time and automatically summons the appropriate articulation or nuance.

Two harps in the 19th-century fashion
The Vienna Instruments Harps collection owes its two instruments to the use of two harps in orchestral music of the mid 19th century. With 2,010 samples, you're certain to find your favorite harp articulations! Harp 1 is played by Ruth Rojahn, harpist of the Hofer Symphoniker and internationally successful soloist.

Harp I offers gissandi with flexible and quick control
Apart from single notes in various playing styles the first harp offers glissandos, which now in Vienna Instruments are particularly brilliant and easy to use. The controller structure allows for extremely flexible and quick access – the user can switch between ranges, different tempos, up and down movements, and different scales in real time while playing. Now you can access all Dimensions at the same time!

Harp II provides a second dimension of single notes
The second harp, played by Julia Reth, contains an even larger number of single notes, also offering normal, muted, harmonics, and bisbigliando playing styles. The bisbigliando variations produce the whispering of tender tremolos on two strings playing the same note.
