The breakthrough Roland VH-12-SV Hi-Hat is the first electronic hat designed to sound and feel like an acoustic. In fact, the VH-12 is so realistic that it mounts on any acoustic hi-hat stand! Top and bottom cymbals work with full motion capabilities, so you can use sticks and pedal for ultra-nuanced sound and dynamics.

When used with Roland's TD-20 sound module, you can convincingly create an astonishing range of sounds with the VH-12-SV: from open to closed and in between, including the essential "half open" position. And when the pedal is fully closed, adding pressure varies the pitch and decay - just like an acoustic hi-hat!
