Interface Converts Roland R-BUS to FireWire! PreSonus rolls out another "somebody finally did it" product aimed at owners of Roland gear who've been feeling a little left out of the multi-channel computer interface world, called the V-Fire. It's a 24-bit/96kHz R-BUS to FireWire converter. Compatible with both Windows XP and Mac OS X, the V-Fire provides a multi-channel computer interface for Roland products equipped with R-BUS. V-Fire features two R-BUS and two FireWire ports for 16 channels of digital audio to stream at up to 24-bit/96kHz. It also comes with a software control panel enabling the user to select the sample rate (44.1 - 96kHz), latency, buffer size, and clock source. PreSonus V-Fire at a Glance:
