The two channel V55 has three 12AX7 preamp tubes for pure tube-driven tone, with a duo of 6L6 tubes in the power amp stage. You also get a vintage equalizer section with bass, mid, and treble controls, Normal and Bright inputs to help match your guitar to the amp, and a Mode switch that lets you change the tubes between Triode or Pentode operation.
