The Edirol V-440HD video mixer puts impressive video mixing capability right at your fingertips - and in a very convenient, compact package! Efficient, ergonomic control surface
Edirol designed the V-440HD to provide maximum control from a compact surface - without cluttering your workspace. Pro-quality video faders, banks of backlit bus switches, position control joysticks and dials, and an array of buttons are arranged to make working with multiple video formats very clear and easy. The V-440HD's sturdy chassis is also rackmountable, making it equally at home in the studio and in a mobile rig.

Versatile HD input/output
Up to four source devices can be connected via BNC or 15-pin D-sub for direct connection of HD component or computer. For any input, the connectors not being used for the source input can be used as thru output. The resultant mix within the SD section is output from the BNC terminal (composite) and S-Video terminal. The SD Preview Output also shows the onscreen menu.

Output image to multiple screens from multiple units
Connecting multiple V-440HDs via MIDI allows easy setup of multiscreen configurations. The multiple screens are treated as one unified surface with PinP and wipes moving across the screens. V-440HD is equipped with MIDI and REMOTE terminals for controlling from external devices. Video switching, synchronized with music or controlled from computer software, is available with these terminals.

HD/RGB output section
This section contains BNC and D-Sub terminals to output the result of mixing within the HD/RGB section. Preview terminals of BNC and D-Sub are also equipped. Switch between NTSC and PAL modes at the push of a button while turning on power. For test patterns, V-440HD can output a 75 percent color bar or 100 percent color bar. Other precise setups, including brightness and color, can also be adjusted.
