Professional Broadcast and Media Wireless Receiver

If you are in broadcast or media production, you need the Shure UR5 wireless receiver. With over 2000 frequencies available the UR5 is extremely flexible, and will work with all UHF-R and Axient transmitters. Save up to 20 different transmitters in memory for quick switching to various audio sources. The Shure UR5's backlit LCD screen lets you easily navigate through functions and see results from the one-button sync and scan feature.

Sync and scan
A Sync and Scan feature lets you quickly and easily setup your UR5 receiver. At the touch of a button the UR5 will will do a full-bandwith scan, and sync to compatible transmitters. You have the choice of 2400 selectable frequencies across the 60 MHz bandwidth, that is a lot of choices. The scan results display right on the built-in LCD. The UR5 includes Audio Reference Companding so you always have crystal-clear audio. The UR5 transmission range is up to 150 meters line of sight.

Multi-transmitter mode
The built-in multi-transmiter mode (MTx) lets you store multiples of transmitter and frequency information into the UR5 for quick access. Instead of lugging around a number of different receivers, the UR5 will let you access multiple transmitters in just one unit. The Shure UR5 works with all UHF-R and Axient transmitters. It also features both microphone and auxiliary balanced outputs to go directly to your camera or recording device.

Mounting and battery options
The Shure UR5 comes with both a camera shoe mount and a stand strap mount. Many other Anton/Bauer plate mounting accessories are available. You can power the UR5 either by battery power or from the power of the camera. If you want to use battery power, the Shure UR5 accepts AA batteries or a lithium ion rechargeable battery pack. If you prefer to use camera power you will need the 12V adapter accessory and mount.
