UAD has great deals on plugins all the time so it's really easy to save on great EQ/Compressor/Reverbs. I like being able to have the unit dashboard running with my DAW so I can see how much processing power is available and make sure nothing crashes on me. The processing power this unit adds to my projects is great, the only con I can think of about the Duo I have is that it can't run quite as many simultaneous plugins as the Quad can, but it's easy to work around that by getting your settings where you want them and then printing tracks with the effects and moving on. Since I've been using this unit, I don't look at my mixes and think that there's something missing anymore. This fills in all the holes and makes any track sound 10 times better. close [-]
