SOUNDS REMARKABLY CLOSE TO ORIGINAL UNITS

These are the best plug ins available on the market. They blow waves out of the water. The recreations are so spot on it is just scary. They simply nailed every single plug in they made.

The BEST Period!

I had a 4 card UAD1 system back in 2005. I sold it when they changed PCI cards because I didn't want to buy all new cards. I wandered the plug-in desert for years trying to match the quality of UAD plugs. Tried them all. Let me put this as plainly as possible: EVERY OTHER PLUG-IN ON THE MARKET IS A JOKE COMPARED TO THE UAD SYSTEM. I'm back and couldn't be happier. I have completely changed my plans for acquiring hardware compressors and EQs. There's simply no need and it's a waste of money with the UAD collection available. I have used almost all the actual hardware that the UAD plugs emulate. If there is ANY difference in sound between them it's so minimal that you'd have to be nuts to incur the extreme added cost and maintenance and limited use of the hardware. Don't spend another dime on hardware or plugs until you have a well-appointed UAD system.

UAD-2 card is mindblowing, and the company is top notch!

First of all, as a long time member of the UAD family let me say this company is second to none. They're always running promos and offering coupons and discounts. I've gotten so many deals over the years that it seems like the plugins (or maybe the cards) pay for themselves.
I've never had a major issue, but anytime I had a question it was easy to get someone one the phone. Installing and authorizing is near transparent. The plugins are the best available if you ask me. I'm running a home studio and I love having the sound of Neve, Moog, Teletronix, SPL, etc. available in multiple instances and with the ability to automate and recall. If you're on the fence with UAD do yourself a favor and jump on board. You'll never look back. I'm literally proud to be a UAD user. The company fosters good will repeatedly and keeps releasing awesome new plugins. I like them so much I'm hear reviewing it because I want to help other people find out about them.
