Antenna for Your Shure Wireless System! The Shure UA870 is an active UHF wireless directional antenna for Shure wireless systems. When compared to an omnidirectional 1/2-wave antenna, the Shure UA870's cardioid patterns offers enhanced reception of your desired coverage area and greater rejection of RF signals outside that area. An onboard amplifier compensates for coaxial cable signal loss, though the UA870 does require an appropriate Shure receiver or Antenna Distribution System to distribute power through the connecting coaxial cable. Mic stand-, wall-, and ceiling-mountable, the Shure UA870 is also weather resistant for use outdoors. Shure UA870 Features: UA870USTV (470-698MHz) RF Frequency Range Active UHF wireless directional antenna Log periodic dipole array Onboard amplifier with user-selectable 3 or 10dB gain Gain setting indicated by two LEDs Remote 12 Vdc power for the antenna provided by Shure U4S, U4D, ULXP, ULXS, UR4S, and UR4D receiver or a Shure UA845 or UA844 Antenna Distribution System Can be mounted on a microphone stand, suspended from the ceiling, or mounted to a wall using the integrated swivel adapter bracket Weather resistant for use outdoors For best diversity performance, use two UA870 antennas The Shure UA870 is a powerful antenna for your Shure Wireless System!
