I needed to combine and boost the signals to several Sennheiser wireless receivers. While Sennheiser makes a similar unit, the Shure is less money. The UA844 handles the combining and also provides ... read more [+]power for the Sennheiser units. Please note that the DC power connectors from the Shure do fit the Sennheiser but are not a snug fit. Some gaffers tape solved that problem. Since I'm a Ham radio operator I use a couple of home brew yagi antennas cut to the frequency ranges I need and they work well.
