When I needed to switch from my Phonic HelixBoard 17 USB mixer, I didn't have all that much money. I never do. As a student and a musician, I have little money and what I have goes to equipment. I ... read more [+]bought this thinking it would be cheap and somewhat acceptable. I was excited to get it to start working and it took no time at all. Paired with ASIO4ALL (free-ware Asio driver update), it is a killer low-latency, ultra-portable audio interface. I got a Behringer tube pre-amp and together, I can record absolutely anything. The only problems with this product is that the thing is light, almost too light, and although I haven't broken it, I could see myself doing that because of its plastic feel. I have been getting this high pitched whine through my speakers, so I think that might be an issue. I also don't know if that is the output or the input but I am pretty sure it isn't the speakers. The only reason I am considering changing this today is because I am now needing more than 2 inputs and outputs. close [-]
