Marshall Wolkofffrom IN, USA June 10, 2012Music Background: Electronic musician and jazz piano This unit is solidI am a huge fan of Novation's products and there controllers are not only well made. good looking, solid and easy to learn...but the TWITCH is unique in that it is full of clever design features. It took me only a night to feel like I was in complete control and with the neat touch strips, colored lights and other cool features I am able to use Traktor in a much more creative and satisfying way.
K1from Dallas, TX USA October 24, 2012Music Background: Gigging DJ, Producer Solid Build With One Fatal FlawFirst I want to talk about the build quality. This thing is small and light but feels rugged in your hands. The unit won't flex at all like some others. The knobs are nice and tight and feel like they aren't going anywhere. The faders seem cheap. Like they are going to go out over a few months.Now, none of what I just said matters if you plan to use this thing in a club. Being that this unit is completely bus powered, and features about 170 leds, its output is completely underpowered. If you were to play with this at a club, you could turn the twitch master all the way up and you would be no where near the output of a cdj. You will be quieter than every one else. End of story. That said, I'm keeping it because its fun to play with. Its small enough to fit in a small laptop bag, and it never hurts to have a dj console to pull out randomly at parties. I'm giving this 3 stars because of the fun factor, the build quality and the price.
