Use TruSpacers to mount Trupanels for Broadband Absorption

When you have an airspace behind your studiofoam, it increases its low-frequency effectiveness. Auralex TruSpacers are 3" foam spacers used for mounting Auralex TruPanel acoustic foam panels. Using TruSpacers to mount Trupanels out from your walls or ceiling creates an airspace behind your foam for excellent broadband absorption. With Auralex TruSpacers, you have the option of placing the TruPanels across a corner, or spaced off the wall. Using two of the 3" wide TruSpacers, you can "float" the panel 6" off the wall. At 6", you would likely experience another 10 to 15% gain in performance compared to the 3" space, with the greater increase in the
lower frequencies. Three (3) TruSpacers would allow 9". (Auralex
has not tested to know how well this would stay in place.)

One box of 64 TruSpacers will adequately mount 40-60 sq. ft. of TruPanels.
