Its got everything you need in a tremolo and then some. The Wave control adds an extra feature that you don't normally get from most tremolo pedals and the price is great! Sounds very natural.

I bought this pedal from Sweetwater thinking it would be a decent "get by" until I had a chance to go to one of the big box stores and get a really good tremolo. Well, Saturday I went to a local stor... read more [+]e about 2 hours away and took this pedal with me...not to trade but to compare. I took a Y power adapter so I could AB two pedals side by side. My first comparison was a Black Cat pedal which I quickly eliminated because it just did to much, had to many options that I did not need and didn't sound all that great to my ear. Next, I tried A Diamond ($249). Same thing here, sounded OK but did much more that I would ever need. Lastly, I tried a Fulltone Supa Trem. Great sounding pedal but did not sound any different that this Garage Tone pedal. Even the sales person in the store remarked that he did not hear any difference. The only thing the Fulltone had was the foot switch that doubled or halved the speed; a nice feature but not a game changer. The Fulltone was priced at $179. Guess what, I kept the Garage Tone and went home with my billfold still full. In order to change the speed by foot, I took the big knob off my MXR script phase 90 and it fits perfectly on the speed knob of the GT. close [-]
