Complete audio recording system in a compact lightweight case
Slide the Traveler into your briefcase or bag, alongside your laptop, and you've got a complete audio recording system - to go. At an incredibly efficient 9 watts, the Traveler draws power directly from your computer via FireWire, with no AC or DC power required.
20 input channels, including 4 mic inputs with phantom power
The Traveler doesn't skimp on audio inputs. With 20 channels of audio, it includes 4 mic inputs with individually switchable phantom power. And Traveler's Digital Precision Trim allows adjustments of preamp gain in 1dB increments for optimum accuracy. You can save and recall trim setups to make setting up the Traveler quicker and easier.
Record at up to 192kHz, with ADAT optical, AES/EBU and S/PDIF output
Traveler delivers true high-definition recording capability, so you can record anywhere at sample rates up to 192kHz. And with Traveler's multiple digital outputs you can connect to any audio destination. ADAT optical permits 8-channel transfer at 44.1 or 48kHz and 4 channels at 88.2 or 96kHz. In addition, AES/EBU and S/PDIF I/O are included.
Standalone operation, battery pack option for extended recording and MIDI I/O
Traveler can operate as a standalone format converter. For extended remote recording. The Traveler can also be powered by a standard battery pack. With Word Clock, SMPTE and ADAT sync, connecting to your digital recorder is easy. And Traveler even includes MIDI I/O for remote control. The Traveler is packed with industry leading features, impeccable audio quality, steadfast reliability and broad compatibility.
