Straight EpicWorked soo well with my already owned S4, perfect sample pad. Easy to set up and doesn't disappoint. NI always makes the best Rig Equipment. On a other note, Sweetwater has amazing service, good people and always everything a musician needs. The Store staff are so friendly I even befriended one lol. 5/5 for sure

Kontrol F1 reviewTraktor seems to be leading the way with innovative DJ software, and the new 2.5 remix decks push them even farther ahead of the competition. Unfortunately the remix decks are only operable with the Kontrol F1, giving Native Instruments the monopoly with this market. The Kontrol F1 is the same size as the X1, fits smoothly into the X1 case, and is a simple plug and play controller for all Traktor 2.5 users. The F1 controls everything within a remix deck and one controller can easily switch between two remix decks. Its easy to learn and fun to play, but $250? Come on Native Instruments, dont force us to buy an overpriced controller in order to use your software. Competition is always a good thing.

F1 Traktor ControllerI'll keep this short and sweet. The Traktor software is awesome and relatively intuitive. It's also a good place to start if you are just beginning with this type of DJ program. As per the F1 controller, it's fine, good for a few air horn samples & laser effects. Of course you have to load all of your own content so you should have an idea of what it is you are trying to accomplish.
This product will NOT solve your live DJ performance needs. You will need an actual deck controller to run everything smoothly.
The F1 controller controls "remix decks" not single decks with songs so it's hard to actually trigger full songs using the F1.
All in all, great software, decent controller. Unfortuantely, if you are looking to get started, spend the extra money and get the deck controllers.
