The Tonare Grand from Paul Reed Smith represents a new undertaking for the known masters of electric-guitar craftsmanship. Now, PRS has applied their years of expertise to crafting premium-grade acoustic guitars, maintaining an emphasis on unique tone, sweet playability, and signature PRS allure. The Tonare Grand features a 16" Tonare Grand body with a solid European/German spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a ebony fingerboard. Its neck comprises Peruvian mahogany. As with its electric brothers, there are also the PRS-signature abalone bird inlays onboard the Paul Reed Smith Tonare Grand.

The PRS Tonare Grand features a 16" Tonare Grand body, with the solid top crafted from beautiful European/German spruce and with figured mahogany back and sides. The neck comprises Peruvian mahogany, which is complemented by a cocobolo fingerboard with abalone bird inlays. In all, the Tonare Grand is noted for its prominent voice, with substantial volume and midrange - its an exceptional instrument for all-around strumming and also lends itself well to flatpicking playing styles.
