You can really go extreme on the 2buss a not hear it at all... unless you turn the knobs like a chimp...The VCA and Dynamic color is a real treat... it can really bring things to live. On individual tracks its a monter... If you're looking for something that colors it all like a VariMu this is not your compressor (BTW VariMu is awesome) but if you want something than can be extremely transparent and tha can color as well this is your gear... I have right after my Massive Passive and everything sounds amazing! The biggest trick on this thing is understanding correctly the Shape knob... That's one of the secrets here. It's not a piece of gear that your are going to learn in one week... it takes time, it's tricky, but one of the most versatile compressor I have had.
