I bought the temp tabs so that one day if I ever sell my house (who knows if that will happen, given what it's worth now?) I can take the stuff down and move with me. Anyhow there are no instructions... read more [+] in the Auralex box, only a diagram on the box lid. In this case a picture is not worth a thousand words. It was totally trial and error to get the LENRD style bass traps of the Atom 12 system to stay on the ceiling/wall. I'd come back the next morning to find them on the floor. You have to figure out for yourself how close to glue the tabs to the edge, how many to use, how much glue, how long to allow it to dry etc., but the real secret is how to place the "velcoin" discs. What ended up finally working is as follows: stick the soft half to the tab, then barely attach the hooked half so that is is literally hanging by the threads. Next ease the foam piece up into final position and give one good push (being careful not to brush against the ceiling or wall too soon.) Now you can pull the foam away and the hooked halves will be stuck to the wall/ceiling and you can press on them to get a tight seal with the wall. Push the foam back into place and you've now got a solid hold. I can't report yet on if this has helped my mixes as I ran out of Temp Tabs, and haven't installed all the foam yet, but so far the room is sounding better. close [-]
