The semi-hollowbody design was originally an attempt to reduce the weight of the solidbody Tele - the F-hole was a visual clue to its construction. This Vintage Modified Tele Thinline represents a Tele that has been modded with a pair of Duncan-designed Tele pickups for classic Tele tone and a 6-saddle bridge for better intonation.
