The FENDER^® Select Carved Koa Top Telecaster is a member of Fender's new Select Series. Built in the USA (where else?), this series one-ups the American Deluxe Series with choice tonewoods, compound-radius fingerboards, beautifully figured tops, gorgeous finishes, and premium appointments throughout.

The Fender Select Carved Koa Top Telecaster wears a gorgeous gloss lacquer finish. lacquer finishes - standard back in the '60s and '70s - are significantly thinner than today's polyurethane finishes, allowing the guitar to "breathe." lacquer finishes not only look vintage-y wonderful; they also enhance the instrument's tonal qualities.

Shred and chord with equal ease
The Fender Select Carved Koa Top Telecaster sports a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. Down low, your fretting hand will appreciate the 9.5" radius that keeps things nice and comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 14" radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action high-speed runs with monumental string bends without fretting out. The best of both worlds.
