The Fender Select Carved Maple Top Telecaster wears a gorgeous gloss lacquer finish. lacquer finishes - standard back in the '60s and '70s - are significantly thinner than today's polyurethane finishes, allowing the guitar to "breathe." lacquer finishes not only look vintage-y wonderful; they also enhance the instrument's tonal qualities.

The Fender Select Carved Maple Top Telecaster sports a compound-radius flame maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.
