While the usual take on a Fender Telecaster involves ash or alder bodies, bolt-on maple necks, and single-coil twang, a real maverick comes along every now and then. Introducing the Custom Telecaster Spalted Maple HH, which sports a stunning spalted maple top, a carved mahogany body, a set mahogany neck (with a slim, comfortable C shape, to boot), and a rosewood fingerboard with beautiful oversized abalone dot inlays. It's got that classic Tele^® profile, but this Telecaster is a definite step away from the expected. Whether you're a Tele enthusiast or just appreciate the look, feel, and sound of a beautiful, well-built solidbody electric guitar, you'll love this one.

Dual humbucker pickup power
The Fender Custom Telecaster Spalted Maple HH is loaded with two great-sounding Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups, for a great range of tones. A SHPGP-1B Pearly Gates Plus humbucker sits in the bridge position, while the neck spot sports a Seymour Duncan SH-1N RP '59 reverse polarity Humbucker™. You can shape your tones with master volume knob, a tone control with a push/pull coil tap, and a three-way pickup selector switch. Add these goodies to the Custom Telecaster Spalted Maple HH's maple top/mahogany body and neck tonewoods, and you've got one big-sounding Tele^®.
