A classic guitar with S-1 switching and Relic treatment! The Classic Relic S-1 Telecaster continues the legacy of a design that's inspired players for decades. In addition to its classic duo of single-coil pickups, this Telecaster is equipped with S-1 switching, which opens up a whole new world of tones beyond the traditional Tele twang (but there's plenty of twang in here, too!). The Classic Relic S-1 Telecaster sports a Red Sparkle finish that's been Relic'd to resemble an instrument that's seen plenty of playing time. Classic design You've probably heard the story before: Leo Fender began designing and building his soon-to-be-iconic guitars over a half-century ago, even though he didn't play guitar himself.
