The Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Pro solidbody electric guitar gives you the look and feel of a vintage instrument combined with the performance of a truly "pro" guitar that's ready for the stage or studio! The Telecaster Pro has the Tele pedigree (ash body, maple neck, classic stainless steel bridgeplate, etc.), but adds to the legacy with updated pickups, a fourth pickup switch position, and Fender's Greasebucket tone circuit. This guitar's "Closet Classic" finish makes it look like that finest of finds: the vintage guitar that's been played just a bit and stored away safely. Closet Classic Imagine walking into a garage sale or auction and stumbling upon a familiar-looking guitar case. Now, wake up and check out Fender's Custom Classic treatment: Custom Shop craftsmen apply just the right touch of "aging" to the Tele Pro's nitrocellulose laquer finish and components, making it a dead ringer for that vintage axe you've been dreaming about. Cool Components The Telecaster Pro adds to the Tele legend, featuring a Custom Shop "Twisted" Tele single-coil pickup in the neck position and a Samarian Cobalt Noiseless Tele bridge pickup. Add its Greasebucket master tone circuit (which rolls off highs without adding bass), compensated brass bridge saddles, and a custom-designed stainless steel bridge, and you've got Tele tone for miles - and then some! This guitar is perfect for stage and studio work alike. Custom Craftsmanship The Fender Custom Shop has been building dream guitars for the cream of the guitar crop for nearly 20 years. From faithful reproductions of classic axes of the past to fully tweaked customs built to an individual's personal specifications, few instruments command the level of respect afforded Fender Custom Shop models.
