sweet ride!

Overall, this is a really great Telecaster. Fender has picked some great wood for the tops, and the whole guitar is really put together well. Mine was well set up right out of the box, and the tan tolex case is a nice departure from the injection-molded flight-ready jobs that the Standard and Deluxe models are coming with.

On the down side, I'm not a huge fan of the look of the tuners, and it is proving difficult to find drop-in replacements. Tuners do work great.

My last and only real grumble is the price. I'm glad to have a quilted-top option for a Tele, and it does look fantastic. However - it's hard to justify the huge price differential for what are essentially cosmetic upgrades. If you're a Tele-holic (like me) it may well be worth the price to have one of these beauties.

Overall, I'm very happy, and wouldn't sell or return this guitar.
