Although not for everyone, the level of control you get with a V neck is incredible. A prime reason why it's difficult to put the Custom Deluxe Flame Top Telecaster down, once you start playing it.

The Fender Custom Shop has fitted the Custom Deluxe Flame Top Telecaster with a Twisted Tele in the neck position. This pup is brighter (and higher in output) than vintage Tele neck pickups, even approaching Strat-like chime. If you're like many of us Tele lovers here at Sweetwater, this is a welcome mod. For the bridge position the Custom Deluxe Flame Top Tele employs a Seymour Duncan BG-1400, which is a stack that gives you the Tele beef, without the hum. Enjoy.
