I love it!!!!

Love the guitar because as growing up a fan of the pedal steel guitar, you can get the best of both worlds. I put some new pickups in mine. I put a Jason Lollar pickup in the neck position and love the results. Also put a tortoise pickguard on as well. Looks sharp and sounds even better. Plays like a dream!!!! Always get asked where the steel guitar is at and they can't believe that it is me making all those lonesome sounds on my guitar.

Also, for anyone having trouble with the lever being a little loose, you can have someone tie a few of the spring coils together on the B bender and it will making it a lot firmer when you pull it and less likely to bend unintentionally.

Happy bending!!!!!

Wonderful guitar

Buy this guitar a year ago to Sweetwater and has been my favorite for its magnificent afinacion, its extensive and varied range of timbres. Its softness makes feel very comfortable to guitarist as well as its diapason. There is no doubt that we are dealing with a guitar very versatile is a not only for the Country Music, it is to interpret any genre music without that this lost its character. I would like to thank the engineer sales of Sweetwater Alex Morales for having recommended this guitar and its careful attention to me, his customer

Well worth waiting for!

I discovered the American Nashville B-Bender Telecaster about 4 years ago in a catalog and I fell in love with it. I wanted it for years and this last Christmas, my wife told me to order it as my Christmas/birthday gift. I had to wait 4 years, but now that this baby is in my hands, it was well worth the wait. The quality is amazing, the feel is fantastic, and the sound will blow you away. This is more than just a Tele with a couple fancy widgets on it! This is the guitar you've been dreaming about. Quit waiting and order it today before Fender discontinues it!

Great guitar, great sound, great looks, unique possibilities

When you are into country or simply want to add B-bends to your skills this guitar delivers!

I purchases the Tele from Sweetwater in June 2011. The sales engineer was very knowledgable and helpful, the shipment was quick and the guitar came in perfect condition. I wish all online music stores would handle their sales that well.

The American Nashville B-Bender Tele looks stunning and is built and adjusted perfectly right out of the case. The satin urethane finish modern C-shape neck combined with the medium jumbo frets are a delight to play. It comes with 2 Tele pickups in bridge and neck position and also sports a Texas Special Strat pickup in the middle which adds a great deal of sounds and versatility to this Axe. The only drawback is that you can't use the Strat pickup alone. Bummer. I wish that Fender would have added one more position or switch to make this happen.

The B-Bender adjusts well to different string gauges but I found that is is a little too sensitive to "normal" playing motion. This often yields to unwanted slight and subtle bends, unfortuntately. Other than that the B-Bender works like a charm and is fun to use. Hint: Don't over-use it (which I tended to in the beginning) but rather sweeten your chops with this guy. Great stuff!

One minor drawback: The guitar comes with Schaller straplocks but the buttons for the strap itself weren't included. I personally don't like the Schaller straplocks anyway and would rather like to use the Dunlops but you have to disassemble the complete B-Bender mechanism in order to swap them. Not good at all!

Summary: great guitar, great looks, great feel, unique sound - a solid 4 stars!
