Top Tele

I've owned several Telecasters for years, and for me the new American Deluxe is the pinnacle expression of the instrument, save for something truly unique out of the Custom Shop.

The look is completely class, and the finish is beautiful. Materials are all top notch. The N3 pups work great. True Tele snap and twang, without the noise, and the S3 switching really does give the additional fullness that makes this instrument perfect for any style. But, the most important feature for me is the neck. The fretwork is exceptional, and the compound radius makes it about the most comfortable neck I've ever played.

In addition to doing original material, I play a variety of over 300 covers in a working group - and I have to say that this version of the Tele is absolutely great for EVERYTHING!

Fit and finish were very good (not 100% perfect, but damn close). And the guitar was set up very well. My only surprise about this guitar is that more working pros are not using them.

As usual, Sweetwater was a pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend them or this guitar enough!
