Amazing - Great Guy

I purchased the aged cherry sunburst with the rosewood fret board about 1 year ago. When I received the guitar the action was a bit high for my liking; however everything on this baby is adjustable. I was able to get the action very low and get the guitar playing very fast in no time at all.

The tone is what gets me. It is just amazing. A friend of mine (expert guitar player for over 40 years) was playing my tele the other day and he couldn't get over how great and how clean she sounded.

The body shape is very comfortable. The top of the guitar curves to provide a very natural feel.

I also love the looks of this guitar. The aged cherry sunburst is amazing and the white binding accents it beautifully.

The guitar is a little pricey for any beginners or intermediate players but this is a great guitar for the money if you are a serious player.

Cons:

I greatly dislike the fender strings. I tossed some elixir strings on her and she never felt and sounded better. They last forever too.

I've been playing for more than 25 years and I presently own Taylor, Breedlove, and Takamine acoustic/electrics as well as 2 Strats and a top of the line Brian Moore with hummbuckers. So, its safe for you to assume I like a quality guitar and this Tele is no exception. It looks and feels like a work of art. The white binding and the abalone dots set it apart from all other Tele's. The fret work is beautiful and the intonation is perfect. The noiseless pickups have incredible tone and the S-1 switching gives you even more tonal options. I run mine through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp and clean or dirty, this is one sweet guitar! It is now my go-to axe and after playing it, not only would I buy it again but I would expect to pay more for it I and I would still consider it a fantastic value. You can't go wrong with one of these.
