The perfect combo for my needs!

I am a songwriter and worship leader. I was choosing music each week to suit either my Garrison acoustic or my LP electric and on the odd occasion, I'd actually bring both. At NAMM 2010 I saw this axe and immediately started drooling. My wife got sick of having to mop the floors, I guess, since she got it for me for Christmas.

After having a month with it in action I can truly say that I am extremely pleased with the sounds of the acoustic side of the guitar. They are clean and cut through, but not overly Piezo-y and can be tamed very well with the tone knob.

The 'Twisted Tele' neck pickup also does very well. I expected it to be very brittle, as my previous experience with Tele's has always left me going back to my Les Paul... I am happy to report that the tone is also nice and useable, although the level output is far lower than my other single coil guitars.

Blending the two sounds together creates a nice full rhythm sound, and I don't have to worry if a guitar player doesn't show up. Switching between the two 'on-the-fly' was instantly a natural motion just like switching pickups.

The neck is a little wider than a standard Tele neck, which suits me fine and the construction seems to be very good (of course, it's a Fender). My only concern is that setups are not going to be as simple as with an ordinary electric, but I'll let my tech figure that out.
