This is a nice guitar, I own an original of this, it was my fathers he gave it to me when i started to play guitar. However mine isnt completely stock, my dad liked the feel of this guitar and loved to play rock and roll/metal so he swapped the pickups with dimarzios and changed the bridge, If only it was completely stock, it would be worth so much. (But i still wouldnt sell it, id just like to brag about it)

Not quite the original but close enough

This is a truly great guitar in it's own right. However, comparing to the original I wish fender would have made the neck with more quality wood rather than the very light coloured maple. It really gives away that this is a cheaper version of the original. I would have been happier paying more money and getting a U.S.A neck. However...like i said still a great guitar and sounds and feels almost identical to the original. Well worth the $

Kiff's Axe

I know, I know. All the "good" Fender's are Made In USA, or so many purists say. If it's good enough for Mick & Kiff, it's certainly more than good enough for me. I've owned two of these honeys, one an original '72 & the other this model. Foolishly, I pawned my first one (stoopid). The second one I gave to a dear friend. (Big heart, empty wallet) At such an affordable price though, the quality and playability is excellent. Great action, versatile sounds, thanks to the humbucker on top & single coil on the bridge. Combine that with Sweetwater's excellent reputation and this guitar is a best buy!
