The Tele® took a quantum leap in 1972 with the addition of a single supercharged Humbucker™ in the neck position. This axe delivers the Tele twang with the added punch of a neck-position FENDER® "Wide-Range" Humbucker™. This Tele also debuted Fender's proprietary Micro-Tilt™ neck adjustment feature, plus a Bullet® truss rod and silver-tipped, skirted amp knobs.
