The mahogany body is similarly shaped, and the pickups are standard Tele® single-coils, but the '69 Thinline's body is semi-hollow and marked by a single "f"-hole. Use to own a 69 & 72 Thinline. Bought this new in 2005 and was greatly satisfied. No difference in the original and sounds great. The maple neck is slick and smooth and the tone is bright.
